Thank you for your birthday wishes! I’m spending an enjoyable evening watching classic Doctor Who and reading a book on the cult of the ancient god, Molech. You can’t stop me, you can only hope

A dangerous truth

SPEAKING TRUTH can be dangerous. The last days of Judah’s independence before the destruction of the Temple by Nebuchadnezzar are chronicled in this week’s study of the book of Jeremiah.

Bloodlines

ONE OF the most important aspects of the long spiritual war is blood. The Watchers tried to corrupt human bloodlines by physically mixing it with their own. Today, humanity seems driven to transform what it means to be human through science.

THE LAST king of Judah, Zedekiah, was obviously more afraid of his countrymen than he was of Nebuchadnezzar — or God, for that matter. This week’s study covers the last couple years of the kingdom of Judah.

I’m not surprised

The disclosure by Project Veritas that Twitter exercises a “shadow ban” on conservative comments isn’t surprising. As we’re learning from James Damore’s lawsuit against Google, the prevailing worldview in the tech world is flamingly liberal.

Remember, social media sites are not public utilities. Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube have no obligation to allow you, me, or the president of the United States to post anything we want. They aren’t there to facilitate free speech.

They aren’t there to make a profit, either, since it’s obvious they put goodthink ahead of business. A Google manager’s warning to conservatives inside the company:

I will never, ever hire/transfer you onto my team. Ever. I don’t care if you are perfect fit or technically excellent or whatever. I will actively not work with you, even to the point where your team or product is impacted by this decision.

The bias will always be there. Conservatives, we just need to create viable alternatives to progressive gatekeepers.

Social media censorship

News that Twitter is “shadow banning” conservatives really isn’t news. Google, YouTube, and Facebook do it, too. But they aren’t public utilities, and we must remember that they aren’t in business to facilitate free speech.
